All Trained For ICD-10? Now What?

HIM and Coding professionals have prepared, in some cases, multiple times for the implementation of ICD-10 and many have completed training and practice recently or some time ago. With renewed congressional support for ICD-10, the reality of its implementation in 2015 is becoming more real. This webinar will cover:

  • ICD-10 readiness for coders, clinical documentation specialists, and other HIM professionals, and what they can do to optimize their knowledge and performance prior to the go-live date and beyond.
  • Strategies to identify deficiencies in your team's skills, plan appropriate remedial education, and monitor performance to ensure these deficiencies have been resolved.
  • Strategic efforts, such as comprehensive assessments, ongoing skills assessments, dual coding and chart practice, performance analytics, and other tools, to ensure your team is not just fully trained, but fully ready for ICD-10.

This webinar is part 1 of a 3 part series. Please look for future information on parts 2 and 3 which are due to take place in May and July of this year.

Our speaker will take part in an interactive Q&A session. Come prepared with your questions on this topic.
