3M Health Information Systems has released Platform 7, Feature Pack 2, the next generation of its unified services platform for 3M dictation, transcription, speech recognition, and document management solutions, as well as the 3M™ ClinTrac product suite.
Using the latest advancements in Microsoft and speech technologies, the new platform accelerates documentation improvement efforts and EHR adoption, and helps clients meet cost management goals through streamlined provider workflow, increased transcriptionist productivity, and improved document accuracy.

Providing greater control of job routing and scheduling, enhanced incentive management, and improved QA workflow, 3M Platform 7, Feature Pack 2 seamlessly integrates with 3M coding solutions and a client's current EMR or health information system. Flexible dictation options give physicians the choice to dictate through web dictation, digital voice recorders, within 3M Electronic Signature Authentication Software, or using 3M Mobile Dictation Software on BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices.
