I applaud Wendy Keller's letter titled "What Good Is Change for MTs?" (Jan. 12). My sentiments exactly. Every word is true in my opinion. I renew my Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) membership each year. I get recertified every 3 years. AHDI's admonishment that we have to sell ourselves is a joke. No one is going to listen to one voice working in the isolation of her home. I'll give my transcription service this, they, not AHDI, made me an excellent transcriptionist producing quality work. Yet, none of the above can "show me the money." I, too, am riding it out until the end.
